I am working on a new design to be used for a woodland themed wedding. They came to me first to ask me to put something together for them. I'm so excited and inspired by it! I want it to be simple and natural but also lovely. I have my materials organized and have written a list of things I would like to use. It's always a pleasure when I get asked to do a wedding, not only does it put my work out there and earn more money than simple day to day sells, it also gives me an excuse to try something new and be creative. It also shows that people can have faith in me despite my blindness.

I had the most wonderful birthday present a few days ago. I found that a small family of rabbits had made a home near my house. I'd taken my lunch out into the trees nearby and as I sat there I could hear them. I left some of my vegetables near where I thought their home was and went back later and they were gone! So I've been leaving them a few gifts each day and today I was able to get one to come close enough for me to touch. He ate from my hand and I pet his head before he hurried away. I'm so happy today.

Birthdays are important! And the best florist around needs a gift for her birthday.

They are, I've just never put much emphasis on my own, I don't feel like I need to I guess? Thank you, though saying that may be going a little far, I don't know that I'm that good!

Everyone needs a day that they are the center of attention!

It's true! You're extremely talented.

I get attention at work! Besides, my employees gave me a cake and sang too, so I wasn't entirely uncelebrated.

Well, thank you so much. I appreciate it!

Well, at least you got a cake and a song! I'd be very sad if you didn't!

Sounds like you've got your work set out for you. I admire your creativity.

Happy belated Birthday, then.

I really do, but I am up for the challenge and excited by it. Thank you, it means a lot to hear that. I do put a lot of work into what I do.

Thank you so much!

I'm sure. It's got to be nice to be able to enjoy what you do so much.

You're very welcome.

It's very nice! I wish that everyone could enjoy what they do. Otherwise what is life about?

Sounds like business is going well then.

I'm sorry, I hadn't realized it was your birthday.

It really is. I'm glad for it to be doing so well despite everything that is happening.

Don't be, I don't mind. My employees bought me a cake and sang the happy birthday song. It was so thoughtful, I'm glad to be working with them.

People still want to celebrate their lives despite everything. Besides, flowers cheer people up, and a lot of us want to do that for others lately.

Sounds like some great people. I'm glad you were able to celebrate, though.

I think it's almost magical that flowers can do that. I'm happy that I can help make it happen too.

They really are. We're all good friends and they're so helpful. Thank you, the cake was delicious and they made me take the rest of it home. I still haven't finished it.

Yeah, it is. I'm sure you brighten peoples' days without having to give them flowers.

Good. There's nothing like being able to consider your co-workers mates. Maybe the rabbits would like some of it, hah.

You're very kind, Cliff.. It's not like I'm making people feel well after getting sick or something like that.

It certainly makes things easier than it would have been, I'm sure. Do rabbits eat cake? Do you think I should try?

Exactly, you don't even have to do that to make people feel better.

At least you have the authority to fire someone if something ever came up where someone was a complete tosser. I think they'd eat it, I wouldn't give them much but a little bit should be fine.

That's a very nice thing to say. I can't stop smiling

Oh! I'm very glad to don't have any employees I would want to fire! Really? I'll give them a little bit then, I hope they like it!

It's true.

Yes, it's good to have a smaller amount too. Less chance for an idiot to come around. Me too.

That makes sense. I can be selective about my employees. I'll let you know if they like it!
