I've been playing with the idea of trying my hand at sewing. Nothing too complicated, just blankets of some sort. I just picture some beautiful blankets in my mind's eye and have been really wanting to make them. I don't expect my endeavors to result in flawless designs and products but I know I'll have fun trying. I might need some help and advice on where to start and maybe some techniques on how to do it with my wand if I need to. I don't know how hard this is going to be but I believe in always trying something new and challenging myself to learn. I feel like there is so much that I've missed out on and continue to miss out on so I try to do new things and have new adventures.

You truly are an inspiration to people, Laney. Especially in times like these.

Unfortunately I'm not one for sewing, so I wouldn't know where to begin in helping you with techniques. A dear friend of mine designs her own robes and various other things and they are always flawless and intricate; I could point her out to you or let her know you're looking to learn. There's another too, but I wouldn't want you two alone in the same room for fear that she might bite your head off at some point. Daphne Nott - I think you two have talked before.

I wouldn't consider myself such an honorable thing but I really am touched to be called that, especially by you. I just hate to give in to the fear and depression that these times seem to bring out in many people. There is still so much to enjoy and smile about, you just have to look for it sometimes.

Yes! I have talked with her before. Do you think she'd be willing to help me? It might be hard to help me figure things out.

That's because you're far too humble, but you really are. It's incredible that you can see it that way when you have the limits put on you that you do. People really should take a page out of your book.

I don't see any reason why she wouldn't be. Her little sister - who I know you've also been friendly with - is constantly getting help from her. Daphne can be very patient, and I think she'd love to share something that she loves so much.

Thank you, Cliff. I really would like to help people be more uplifted in their daily lives. Even just something to sincerely smile about is such a good thing.

Astoria? Yes, she's one of my friends! Well I hope then that she'd be willing to teach me then. I know I enjoy sharing things that I love!

It's important. And the last flowers I bought from you and brought to the hospital have a lot of people smiling, just so you know.

They're both highly recommended for helping with plenty of things in my book. If Daphne doesn't notice this first, I'll owl her a message and let her know you're interested in learning if she'd be so kind to help teach you.

Oh good! I'm so glad they could do that for so many people. It's so fulfilling to know I helped in some way.

I will definitely remember that. Thank you so much, Cliff!

My mum sews, and she makes it look so easy. And I don't think it matters if what you make is beautiful or not. Make blankets for your loved and they will adore them, even if they aren't the prettiest things ever made.

That's great advice, thank you. You're definitely right about that, but I can't help but hope they look somewhat recognizable at least.

What about knitting? You probably don't have to worry about measuring stuff when you knit.

I actually just dismissed knitting. Maybe I should really consider it.. I have heard that it involves counting and I can certainly count! Do you knit?

That's too bad. What do you like to do creatively?

Um...

Nothing. Unless dancing counts.

I think dancing counts. Especially if you enjoy it for it's potential as a creative outlet.

I don't think I use it as a creative outlet, but I get quite creative with my moves.

Well, do you feel like you express yourself while you dance?
