I'm looking forward to the change in seasons. There's something magical about it, isn't there. I can't wait to hear the crackle of the leaves beneath my feet and the smell of them on the air.

What is your favorite time of year?

Absolutely Fall. At least then the rain lets up a little bit. Summer is miserable around here to me with the sudden changes in temperature and weather and Autumn is the light at the end of the tunnel!

I love the rain but it is certainly nice for it to ease up just a little bit. Otherwise all the leaves would be soggy all the time!

The rain usually makes me sleepy. That and it makes a horrible mess at work when people track it all inside and shake off all over my recently cleaned floors! And soggy leaves are almost pointless! They don't crunch and they aren't pretty to look at.

The rain can make me sleepy too. I wonder why that is. Though the sound of a storm is usually very exciting for me. I understand how it can make an awful mess. I'm usually cleaning up after customers as well. Soggy leaves are also slippery so it can be a hazard.

I've ready before that humidity enhances our ability to sleep, and that the sound does as well, but I'm sure there are a bunch a reasons. Storms are brilliant! Something about cracking thunder definitely brings some exhilaration! Someone needs to create a spell that can be cast over doorways that just instantly dries someone off when they enter a place.

Those reasons seem pretty good to me! Thunder is certainly amazing. I'm a little partial to the wind as well. Do you think a spell like that exists already?

The wind's nice, but it's freaky sometimes at night when it howls. It might, you never know with magic these days. Then again, I'm completely shocked that we aren't capable of some things yet. I think if it was in existence that Tom would have already put it in place at the Leaky.

It certainly can be scary! You're probably exactly right about that.

I think there's something about each season that I love, but it's probably between Winter and Spring for me! I love getting all bundled up in the snow and the flowers in the Spring are so romantic and gorgeous!

You know I can't resist your tulips!

Yes! I love wearing layers as well. Nothing beats that snuggly feeling by the fireplace either. Spring is definitely romantic and gorgeous! I feel like I get to say hello to the earth again after it sleeps for the winter.

Thank you!

Fireplaces! So perfect and romantic. And can you imagine sleeping that long? I mean, I guess it makes sense with everything it's going to put out during the Spring to need that long of a nap.

They are certainly wonderful. I can't believe some animals actually do sleep for that long. Do you think they ever wake up and walk around? Like the opposite of a nap.

Crunching leaves reminds me of Hogwarts, and those happy days are a welcome memory. I'd have to go with Fall as well. For one it's not as glaringly sunny as it can be during the Spring and Summer, and the smell of those leaves is something otherworldly almost.

Definitely a welcome memory for me too. I think it's incredible that things like sounds and scents are attached to memories. Maybe that's one of the reasons I'm so intent on them. It's certainly nice to get out of the sun and enjoy the shorter days and longer nights Fall and Winter have to offer.

One of the reasons, but it also makes complete sense that you would focus more on those particular senses. You rely on them, to put it simply. I'm definitely a bit of a night owl, so the longer the night the happier I am.

Oh well you're right. I think some people take those kind of things for granted. A night owl? Night time certainly is more quiet.

I love autumn. It's the leaves, definitely.

It make me giddy when I see the leaves falling off the trees.

Anytime but winter. I can't tolerate the cold!

The shock of coming in and out of the cold can certainly get old. The cold also dries out my skin more than any other time of the year.
